Binance, a prominent player in the cryptocurrency exchange landscape, is set to introduce EigenLayer (EIGEN) to its array of services, including Binance Simple Earn, ‘Buy Crypto’, Binance Convert, Binance Margin, and Binance Auto-Invest. The integration process will unfold throughout the month of October 2024, marking a significant expansion in the platform’s utility and accessibility.
Earn
Commencing from October 2, 2024, at 10:00 UTC, users will gain access to EIGEN through various payment methods supported by Binance Auto-Invest. This move is aimed at enhancing users’ control over their crypto assets.
Buy & Sell Crypto
Upon EIGEN’s listing on Binance Spot, users can swiftly acquire the token using VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or their existing wallet balances on the ‘Buy Crypto’ platform. This integration streamlines the purchase process and improves overall user experience.
Convert
EIGEN holders can engage in fee-free trading against popular cryptocurrencies like BTC, USDT, and more on Binance Convert shortly after its listing on Binance Spot. The zero-fee trading feature is designed to attract a wider audience and facilitate seamless trading experiences.
Margin
As of October 1, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, Binance Margin will introduce EIGEN as a new borrowable asset on both Cross and Isolated Margin. Users can trade EIGEN against USDT and FDUSD pairs and stay updated on marginable assets, collateral ratios, and rates through the Margin Data section.
Futures
On October 1, 2024, at 06:00 UTC, Binance Futures will roll out the USDⓈ-M EIGEN Perpetual Contract, offering leverage of up to 75x. The contract features an initial maximum funding rate of +2.00% / -2.00%, with funding fee settlements every four hours. Contract specifications, including funding fees, tick size, and margin requirements, are subject to adjustments based on market conditions.
