New off-road and ‘Ultimate’ models unveiled

Introducing the 2025 Ford Expedition Redesign: A Closer Look

At Extreme Investor Network, we are excited to share the latest news on Ford Motor Company’s redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition. This large SUV is getting a major makeover to up its game and compete with the growing competition in the market.

One of the most significant changes in the new Expedition is the increased refinement and technology. Featuring a sleek interior and exterior design, added comfort and convenience features like a 24-inch driver display, and the BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system, Ford is going all out to meet the demands of modern consumers.

Trevor Scott, general manager of Ford Utilities, emphasized the customer-centric approach taken in redesigning the Expedition. More than 1,100 hours were spent gathering insights from customers to ensure the vehicle aligns with their needs and lifestyles.

While pricing for the 2025 Expedition has not been disclosed yet, customers can expect the vehicles to hit dealerships in the spring. Currently, the starting prices range from $55,000 to $84,000, with an average transaction price of around $70,000.

In the previous redesign of the Expedition seven years ago, the main competition came from General Motors’ full-size SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, and GMC Yukon. However, the landscape has changed with new players like the Jeep Wagoneer from Stellantis, as well as large three-row crossovers from Kia and Hyundai entering the market.

According to insights from auto data firm Edmunds.com, three-row crossovers like the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade have become top cross-shopped vehicles in the full-size SUV segment, indicating a shift in consumer preferences towards more compact and affordable options.

To cater to different consumer needs, Ford is introducing various models for the 2025 Expedition, including Active, Platinum (with an “Ultimate” version), King Ranch, and Tremor. The off-road inspired Tremor model is new for the Expedition but has been a hit on other Ford vehicles.

Under the hood, customers can expect the Expedition to be powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine or a high-output version cranking out 440 horsepower and 510 foot-pounds of torque. And let’s not forget the availability of both standard and longer “Max” models to cater to different space requirements.
