Today, we are excited to share some exclusive insights on Ripple (XRP) and its groundbreaking new feature in API documentation.
Ripple (XRP) Introduces ‘Try It’ Feature for API Documentation

Ripple (XRP) has taken a huge leap forward with the introduction of a new feature in its API documentation. The ‘Try It’ feature allows developers to interact with the Ripple Payments API in real-time, creating a more seamless and efficient developer experience.
Enhanced Developer Experience
With the new ‘Try It’ feature, developers can now send simulated API requests and receive responses from a mock server without the need for logins or authorization tokens. This interactive tool is available across various API reference documentation pages, including the Ripple Payments API, Smart Liquidation Service API, and Report Service API, making it easier than ever to evaluate Ripple’s technology solutions.
Streamlined Testing Process
Gone are the days of waiting for API credentials to test Ripple’s technology. The ‘Try It’ feature eliminates this barrier, providing developers with a lightweight testing tool that can be accessed at any time. This streamlines the testing process, accelerates integration, and allows for independent testing before going live.
How to Use the ‘Try It’ Feature
We have outlined a step-by-step guide on how developers can make the most of the ‘Try It’ feature for the ‘GET /fees’ operation of the Ripple Payments API:
- Visit the API reference page for the GET /fees operation.
- Click the ‘Try It’ button on the right panel.
- Enter any string in the Authorization text field under the Security tab.
- Edit query parameters under the Parameters tab.
- Click Send to view the response from the endpoint.
The response panel will display the success response from the endpoint, giving developers a comprehensive understanding of Ripple APIs.
Future Developments
The ‘Try It’ feature is already live and accessible for testing in the Ripple Payments API, Smart Liquidation Service API, and Report Service API reference documentation pages. Our product documentation team is actively working to expand this feature to the Ripple Payments Direct API reference pages in the near future.
